The Hampshire County Select Boards Association and the Hampshire Council of Governments are hosting a workshop with the USDA to be held at the Bluebonnet Diner, 324 King Street, Northampton, September 29^th, beginning with registration at 5:30 PM.

Discussion will include the Community Facility Loan and Grant programs which are for facilities, equipment, vehicles etc. for Municipalities or nonprofits. We will also cover Water & Waste Loan and Grant programs for water and sewer treatment facilities, lines, and other water related concerns/problems. The USDA offers programs for business development, renewable energy and housing (including housing repair). There are opportunities for every community in Hampshire County and an introduction to a valuable community development partner.

Please extend the invitation to other town officials that you feel would benefit from the program. We hope to see you or a representative of your community.
