Progress towards High-Power Laser Projection

Presenter: Simon Guthrie, Christie Digital Systems, Canada

Abstract:

Lasers have a number of properties that appear at first to be ideal for use in digital projection. We will discuss many of these in the context of the demonstration of high-brightness stereoscopic projection performed in Amsterdam this September. In addition, we will discuss how lasers fit into the development of next-generation projection systems.
