How to Find a Science Free Read Book Using the Library Catalog
In your science classes, you may be asked to select a Science Free Read book. This is often a nonfiction book on a subject in science that interests you.
You can always come in to view our selection of Science Free Reads in person, but we also have an option to search through them online!
Below are instructions on how to find a Science Free Read that interests you.
Instructions:
The easiest way to search through Science Free Reads on the catalog is to use the Pathfinders. Under the blue Home options, you will find the Pathfinders option towards the middle of the drop down menu. You can also find the page HERE.
Our pathfinders are organized alphabetically. Scroll down until you see Science Free Reads. Here is where you will find the Science Free Reads sorted by their call number! (This ensures that similar books are located together.)
NOTE: Environmental Science books are located in another pathfinder. If you need an Environmental Science book, scroll back up to E.
Select a pathfinder within this section that interests you. Once you select an option, you will be able to scroll through all the books we have on that subject that are Science Free Reads.
If you find a book you like, you can Request it and library staff will put it on hold for you to pick up. You can find instructions on how to do that HERE.
