PEWAUKEE LAKE ELEMENTARY
During their years at Pewaukee Lake Elementary, students begin to explore the world around them, learning about careers and expanding their own levels of self-awareness. These learning experiences provide a foundation for Academic & Career Planning opportunities that they will have as they grow.
5K - KINDERGARTEN
What is a Career? Students will learn what a career is, and begin to identify examples of different careers.
Career Stations: Students explore different stations that focus on different aspects of careers including the tools they use, what they make, and different career environments.
Make It About Me: Students will reflect on careers and identify one that is of interest to them.
GRADE 1
Careers Identification: Students go on a scavenger hunt, and identify different careers based on their clues they find
Career Stations 2.0 : Students explore different stations that focus on different aspects of careers including the tools they use, what they make, and different career environments.
When I Grow Up: Students will reflect on careers and identify one that is of interest to them.

Career Trivia: Students will revisit the definition of a "career" and explore various traditional and nontraditional careers
Would You Rather (Career Opportunities): Students will demonstrate self-awareness of their personal preferences related to career options
Looking To My Future - Skills: Students will reflect on careers and identify one that is of interest to them, along with what they will need to learn in order to be able to have that career.
