During their senior year, learners will be engaging in a variety of personalized opportunities to fine-tune their post-secondary plans and prepare for their transition out of the Pewaukee School District and into the next chapter of their educational journey. Academic and career planning will revolve around Future Ready days and workshops, among other avenues. As students complete both their plans and their K12 education in Pewaukee, our focus is on ensuring that no matter what "door" they select, they will be well-prepared.

Timelines: Preparation for critical timelines and deadlines for post-secondary application processes
Mentorship: Learners will have the opportunity to be matched with a professional mentor in the career field of interest to the student
Career Exploration: Introduction to a variety of traditional and non-traditional careers through presentations from community speakers
Reality Store: Learners will experience various activities they will encounter in the future, and practice financial decision-making as they face choices regarding budgeting, insurance, and life style choices
Post-Secondary Connections: Learners are able to self-select opportunities to visit and learn about various technical colleges, 2- and 4-year universities, and military pathways
Resume Workshop: Learners are able to self-select support in fine-tuning their resume
Senior Night: Parents are invited to join their students for an evening of learning about post-secondary planning
Financial Aid Night: Parents are invited to join their students for an evening of information about financial planning in preparation for post-secondary pathways
Financial Aid Workshop: Learners receive support in navigating processes related to financial aid requests
College Application Workshops: Learners receive guidance, tips, and support in navigating and completing the college application process through multiple workshops starting in summer and continuing throughout the year
Scholarship/FAFSA/Financial Aid Presentation: Learners receive guidance and support as they identify and apply for applicable scholarships
Advisory Check-ins: Learners will meet 1:1 with their advisor throughout the year to assess progress on their academic and career identity journey and receive personalized support as they finalize their post-secondary plans
