OCS into Croke Park Final

Our school gaelic football team has qualified for the final of the Corn Matt Griffin competition this year. This is a fantastic achievement by this group of players and the school are very proud of their achievements. The final will be taking place next Monday, 22nd of October in Croke Park.

As it is such a great achievement to even reach the final we would like to have the whole school community to support us on the day in Croke Park. We will be leaving to walk around to the match at 9.30am from the school so any supporters who are going to the match are welcome to walk with the classes as they walk around to the stadium. The match throws in at 10 am.

There is a charge for all supporters who will be going. The charge is €2 for all children and €5 for all adults. This charge is not coming from the school. It is from the organising body, Cumann na mBunscoil to help pay for having the finals in Croke Park. We have to sell the tickets in advance of the final from the school as you will not be allowed entry next Monday without a ticket that you have purchased from the school. We will not be selling tickets next Monday for adults so please ensure that you purchase your ticket before this Friday, the 19th of October.

Tickets can be purchased from your child’s class teacher.
