Association of Religion Data Archives

Includes data on religious practices and beliefs worldwide, aggregating the results of a huge number of individual surveys.

Gallup Poll: Presidential Approval Ratings

This interactive portion of the Gallup site allows you to search past and present approval rating polls for US presidents beginning with Truman.

General Social Survey

The GSS has been "taking the pulse of America" since 1972.

Maine People's Resource Center

Public opinion poll data for the state of Maine, mostly recent (since 2010).

Quinnipiac Polling Institute

Data includes survey results querying residents of a selection of states about politics, elections and social issues.

Roper Center for Public Opinion Research (iPoll)

A sampling of data is available without a subscription (which GHS does not have), ask your librarian for help accessing other data through interlibrary loan, or visit Bowdoin College or a University of Maine library.

U.S. Census Bureau Factfinder

Although not a source for poll data, you may find the census data useful for defining data about the general population in the US.
