The sea teaks leaves are long, narrow and pointed. They are thick, glossy and bright green.
Cones
The Sea teak is a conifer that produces cones. The Sea Teak reproduces by cones. Male cones are cream-coloured and produce white powdery pollen which are transferred to female cones by wind.
Fruits
Upon successful pollination, the female receptacle becomes red, and the ovule becomes a seed. When mature, the seed turns green with a fleshy red receptacle. The seeds are eaten and dispersed by animals such as birds and bats.
