The Right Way to Recycle

Teaching children to care for the environment develops in them the values of respect, empathy, patience and responsibility and allows them to reflect on how their actions may affect the environment. 

It is a common misconception that people can contribute to recycling efforts by dumping all their plastics, paper and cans in the respective recycling bins. Most people are not aware that preparation is needed prior to placing these recyclables into the recycling bins.

This year, the EE committee had placed different types of collection bins at the drop-off point for staff, parents and students to drop off their recyclables into the bin.
