St. Anthony’s Primary School envisions every Anthonian to be an advocate of green living. Anthonians will be committed to caring and protecting their environment by practicing good and friendly green habits as responsible citizens. Environmental Education (EE) in St. Anthony’s Primary School adopts a whole school approach, to reach out to all staff and pupils to care for the environment as well as to raise awareness and understand current environmental issues.
Our school EE programme aims to:
1. promote awareness and appreciation of the environmental issues through the 5R (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle) approaches;
2. instil a sense of responsibility for the environment in staffs, pupils and stakeholders and;
3. shape our staff and pupils’ attitude towards caring for the environment through various school programmes and projects.
Vision
To instil care, respect and responsibility for the environment in every learner.
