Leaves

Flowers
The flowers of the bamboo orchids are a mix of white, purple and pink with a yellow patch in the middle. Flowers can be found on the plant throughout the year if the required conditions are met.
Bees help to pollinate the flower, and ants are attracted to the flowers. The flowers of the bamboo orchid are edible and are known to be used as vegetables and herbs in East Malaysia.
Fruits
The fruits of the bamboo orchid are cylindrical, ridged pods that split open when they are ripe, dispersing seeds through the wind.
