On April 3rd, 2024, Laxman Public School conducted a workshop tailored specifically for Grade VII students, with the aim of guiding them through the intricate journey of adolescence. Led by Ms. Dimple Vij, the workshop addressed various aspects of adolescence, including physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, and psychological dimensions.

The workshop began by emphasizing the importance of self-awareness and self-acceptance as foundational elements for personal growth. Through engaging and interactive sessions, students were equipped with practical tools to develop essential life skills such as communication, decision-making, and problem-solving.

Ms. Vij facilitated discussions on prevalent issues faced by adolescents, including bullying, peer pressure, and screen time management. Strategies were shared to help students identify and address instances of bullying, navigate peer pressure assertively, and maintain a healthy balance in their use of digital devices.

The workshop highlighted the significance of cultivating a supportive and inclusive environment within the school community. Students were encouraged to express themselves freely and seek guidance whenever needed. By fostering open dialogue and providing personalized support, the aim was to instil in students a sense of confidence and resilience as they navigate through adolescence.

In conclusion, the workshop served as a valuable platform for Grade VII students to gain insights, skills, and strategies essential for navigating adolescence with confidence and resilience. By fostering self-awareness, promoting essential life skills, addressing prevalent issues, and fostering a supportive environment, Laxman Public School aims to empower students to embrace their individuality and thrive during this transformative stage of their lives.
