Ute Meadows has gone to a No-Homework policy. The only thing we are requesting of students is that they read every day. At 2nd grade, we feel 20 minutes a night is a good target. Parents have asked how they can help their students, so the list below is completely optional.
Keep in mind we read for a variety of purposes. Math has a language all its own, and it is important to remember we need develop literacy in this area as well.
Spelling
Choose 3 activities from the Spelling Menu. Many activities take less than a minute to complete, and the list encompass 8 different intelligences. Use words from the Dictation and/or Practice Spelling Test that comes home each week. Red words will be provided via my weekly newsletter. Reading - All login information is located in the Materials section of our Google Classroom.
RAZ-Kids (Click link and use mcrockett3 as the "Teacher Name.")

Math Facts via Moby Max (If you search by School Name, three "Ute" schools will show up. Just make sure your child has chosen Ute Meadows. It might be easier to use the school code: co1725.)
