Transportation Guidelines

When provided, participants will be expected to ride district-sponsored transportation to and from away activities. With approval by the organizer, a student may ride with a parent to and/or from an away activity. For a student to drive themself or ride with a person other than a parent/guardian, a Driver Release Form must be signed by the parent/guardian with the date and description of the activity. Parents/guardians may take their own student(s) home without any form as long as the parent/guardian checks with the coach. Coaches are to hold onto all Driver Release Forms during the season and turn them in to Amy Steffen at the conclusion of the season.

If there is no district transportation provided, students who wish to participate are responsible for arranging for or providing their own transportation (School Board Regulation 707.3) Coaches and/or advisors are not allowed to arrange rides for anyone. THERE IS NO FORM NEEDED WHEN DISTRICT TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED.

INTRA-DISTRICT TRANSPORTATION POLICY- JEFF VS KENNEDY GAMES

• Varsity and JV: no busing to Kennedy contests (except football team).

• 9th and 10th grade teams (except football team) will bus TO contests at Kennedy, but NO RETURNING bus (parents must pick up athletes).

• Off site practice is the responsibility of the athlete (ex: BIG, Dred Scott, etc).
