Head Coaches(Athletics):
Attendance at preseason and post season meetings is required for all head coaches. Preseason meetings focus on protocols and general information and help build a sense of purpose and pride among colleagues as seasons begin. It is important that you are in attendance to hear information first hand and so that your voice is heard on critical issues.
Post season meetings are scheduled in a private format and include an evaluation of you, and your assistants’ performances. These meetings are for reflection and allow you to get information that will strengthen your program before the next season. Postseason meetings also give you the opportunity to set goals with your supervisor and secure resources to enhance your program.
Head coaches are responsible to evaluate their coaching staff and recommend changes to the Activities Director. If, at any time during the season, an assistant coach is performing below expectations the Activities Director should be made aware immediately.
Head coaches must also attend the All Coaches Preseason Meeting.
All Staff Coaches Preseason Meeting:
All Coaches (head and assistant) will be required to attend a preseason meeting set by the Activities Director. This meeting is imperative that head coaches and assistant coaches attend so we as a department can speak and conduct ourselves with one voice and run in a unified direction. A schedule will be posted in the coaches handbook.
Enrichment Coaches, Advisors, and Directors:
Head Coaches, Directors, and Advisors will have meetings with the Activities Director to that serve as preseason and postseason meetings.
