Bizverse User and Workspace Registration Basics
To create a BizverseTM Workspace for your enterprise you must first register as a BizverseTM user.
(you would also need to register as a BizverseTM user if your organization already has a BizverseTM Workspace and you want to access that workspace; once you have registered as a BizverseTM user, ask your organization's workspace administrator to authorize your access)
If you are creating a BizverseTM Workspace for your organization you will automatically become the administrator of the new workspace. As the workspace administrator you can authorize other registered BizverseTM users to access the new workspace. You can also make other registered BizverseTM users administrators of the workspace.
To Register as a Bizverse User
1. Login to your Google account if you are not logged in already (why do I need to do this?)
The Bizverse utilizes the “sign-in with Google” feature, which is based on the OAuth 2.0 protocol . This means a Google identity is required for each person who uses a Bizverse portal. Note: For identification purposes, only the account ID is needed. The Bizverse application does not keep copies of external passwords for identification purposes (including your Google password). To learn more about the "sign-in with Google" feature and the OAuth 2.0 protocol click here...
2. Click the Register button at the bottom of this page. A new page will be presented and you will be prompted to authorize the Registration app.
When you click the Continue button, a window is displayed that prompts you to accept accept the Bizverse application's integration into your Google environment.
3. Click Accept to authorize the GrowthHQ Subscription app (why do I need to do this?)
The BizverseTM makes extensive use of Google's products and services, such as the “sign-in with Google” feature (which is based on the OAuth 2.0 protocol), Gmail, Google Sites, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Forms, Google+ and various Google Developer products such as the Google Apps platform. To use the Bizverse applications you therefore need to have a Google account which gives you your own Google Sites, Google Drive, Gmail address and so on.
When you register as a Bizverse user, you are prompted - as per the prompt window shown above - to accept the integration of the Bizverse application into your Google environment (that is, the environment associated with the Google account you signed into when you started the registration process - the one that is currently displayed in the title bar of the prompt window). This simply means that the Bizverse application will make use of your existing Google environment, such as communicating with you using your existing Gmail account, storing your Bizverse-related documents in your existing Google Drive account (in a separate folder), and so on. The objective is to ensure an optimally integrated user experience.
You could of course register another Google account (e.g., get a new Gmail account) to be used for your Bizverse activities, although this may prove to be counter-productive (if you are using your Gmail account primarily for 'private' non-business-related communication, you may want to consider creating a new Google account for business-specific purposes).
To proceed with the registration process, you have to click the Accept button.
4. Once the authorization procedure completed (when you see the message that reads: "GrowthHQ Subscription has been successfully authorized to access your data"), close the authorization window and refresh the page even if the "Waiting for authorization" message is still active (why do I need to do this?)
If the "Waiting for authorization..." message continues to be displayed after you have closed the Authorization Status window (as illustrated above), refresh the page by clicking the Browser Refresh button (or press Ctrl + F5):
(Some versions of some browsers sometimes do not process the 'completed' message correctly and thus fail to remove the message and refresh the page)
The Bizverse Registration form will now be displayed:
5. Complete and submit the registration form to register as a user (show me how to do this)
Use the Title selector (the dropdown) to indicate your title and enter your First Name, Initials, Last Name/Surname and Mobile Phone Number in the fields provided. If you have an alternative email address you can enter the name of this account in the Alternative Email field provided.
Click the Register button.
6. Once the registration process has successfully completed , a message to this effect will be displayed; the Registration form will present an additional set of fields for creating a new Workspace (show me what this will look like)
Once you have successfully registered as a Bizverse user, a message to this effect is displayed as shown in the image above. The form is updated to show the user's information as it now exists in the user register, and additional controls and fields are added to the interface:
You can use the Edit button to change the user information (Title, First Name, Initial, Last Name/Surname, Phone Number, Alternative Email)
You can use the Workspace fields (Workspace Name, Formal Business Name & Business Web Site) to create a new Workspace for your organization.
To Register a Bizverse Workspace (after you have registered as a Bizverse User)
