Provide a picture for each question, include the measurements as well as a statement answering each question.

1. Jacynthe is making a handrail for a staircase. The staircase rises 3.2m over a horizontal distance of 3.6 m. How long should the handrail be?

2. Calculate the perimeter of Kaitlyn’s triangular plot of land (which is a right triangle) that has side lengths of 24m and 45m. (side lengths are in increasing order). 

3. A doorway is 0.78 m wide and 2.00 m high. Will a round tabletop with a diameter of 2.50 m fit through the doorway?

4. A rectangular field measures 48 cm by 55cm. How far would you need to walk if you walked the diagonal of the field? 

5. Find the height of an isosceles triangle which has a base of 16 mm and both slants are 10 mm.
