1. It takes 1/2 h to prepare  a coconut cream pie, 3/4 h to prepare  an apple pie and 1/3h to prepare for a cherry pie. If I have a party and need to make 10 of each. How much time will it take to prepare all the pies?

2. A recipe calls for 3 ¾  cups of flour and 2 cups of sugar. Sabrina wants to make ⅓  of the recipe. How much of each ingredient does Sabrina need ?

3. Lucas  spends 2/5 of his salary on rent and 1/3 of the remainder on food. What fraction of his salary is left after he pays rent and food?

4. Over the summer, Grayer worked at a grocery store 9 ½  hours per day, 4 days a week. He also spent  3 ½  hours per day mowing lawns 2 days a week.

a)   How much does Grayer work at the grocery store per week?

b) How much does Grayer work mowing the lawn per week? 

c)  What would be Grayer’s total weekly salary if he earns $11/h at the grocery store and $7.50/h mowing lawns?  

d)  Grayer  saves ¾  of his salary for university. How much will he save each week?
