1. Aiden’s class had a car wash to raise money for their field trip. They charged  $8.50 per car and $11.50 per van.  If they washed 26 cars and 18 vans, how much money did they raise for their trip?


2. Noah needs dessert for his  birthday party: 4 tubs of ice cream at $5.49 per tub, 4 boxes of blueberries at $3.99 per box, 2 cakes at $17.99 per cake, 

a) Estimate the total cost of his party. Show how you got your estimates.

b) What is the actual cost of Noah’s party? 


3. Jayden ordered 15 jerseys for the basketball team at $36.79 each.  How much did it cost for the jerseys?


4. Elin has designed a rectangular desk during art class which measures 1.6 m by 2.5 m. Find the area (length x width) of the desk. Don’t forget to include the units in the answer.
