Grade 8 Problem of the Week  Jan 29 - Feb. 2

1. Draw and label nets (using graph paper and a ruler) for a cube, triangular prism,, pentagonal pyramid and rectangular prism. (If you cut the nets out from the graph paper they need to be able to form the prism/pyramid that is named).

2. Draw the net for a right rectangular prism with the dimensions 6 cm x 3 cm x 2 cm 

3. Sketch a net for the right triangular prism which has isosceles triangles with a base of 5 cm and a height of 5cm. The hypotenuse is 7 cm. The length of the prism is 6cm.
