School Psychology
What is a School Psychologist?
Your School Psychologist has specialized training in psychology and education. By utilizing this training your school psychologist will team with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals to ensure that each child learns in an environment that is safe, healthy, and supportive. By means of thoughtful and positive actions, school psychologists can provide solutions to the challenges that our children face not only today, but also tomorrow.
Each child and his or her situation is unique; therefore, your school psychologist will tailor their services to each child's individual needs. There are many different approaches that a school psychologist will use, but most are provided through one of more the following core services:

Prevention
Education
Research and Planning
Health Care Provision
