South/Ramapo Dual Meet Results

Yesterday in a highly anticipated dual meet with South, the boys team fell short of breaking South’s 17 year win streak over the Rams. It came down to an exciting 4×400 relay, with underclassmen stepping up to run huge PB’s, and senior leadership running with true grit and determination, finishing just .4 sec behind a strong South relay. The boys did pick up with their first win against Ramapo, and were led by victories in the discus, 3200, 4×100 (with the FS team running 2nd and 48.1), high jump, triple jump and pole vault.

Not to be overlooked the girls team performed well, beating Ramapo, but losing to South bringing their dual meet record to 2-3. The team was led by wins in the 100 hurdles, 400 hurdles, 400, 800, 4×400, and high jump.

Congrats to both teams on a fine dual meet season. The team is moving into the championship season in the next month, but heads to the Red Raider Relays this Friday and Saturday.
