Results: League 1B (5/8/08)

Both the boys and girls team finished 5th at the League 1B championships.
In the triple jump, Eric C. had a jump of 42′6.25″ to win by 6 inches, while Shane J. finished 2nd and 3rd in the discus and shot put, respectively. The 4×100 team avenged a dual meet loss to North Rockland to finish 2nd in that race, while the 4×800 finished 3rd.
On the girls side, Jamie E. finished 3rd in the 100HH, while freshman Brooke F. threw 72′5″ to claim third in the discus. The girls 4×800 followed the lead of the boys and also picked up a third.
The team now looks ahead to the Loucks Games and the Rockland County Championships in two weeks.
