The annual assessment report is designed to summarize assessment activities and highlight steps taken toward continuous improvement. It includes an overview of feedback collected and then goes on to detail faculty reflection on student performance. Other feedback, such as senior exit survey results and alumni focus group input may also be reviewed for continuous improvement opportunities. Finally, a summary of recommendations and other suggestions for improvement based on program assessment data are submitted for program faculty to review and discuss. This report is then presented for review by the COEN accreditation committee the following academic year.
In the 2019-2020 academic year, the BSEE underwent the Program Assessment Reporting (PAR) process prescribed by the University. The program's PAR was submitted in lieu of an assessment report that academic year.
In the 2020-2021 academic year, the assessment committee did not meet. An assessment report for the year was not prepared as planned.
In the 2021-2022 academic year, efforts turned towards writing the self-study report and no assessment report was prepared.
