Microelectronic Circuits, the third course in the EE program's circuits series, emphasizes circuit design and analysis using diodes, bipolar junction transistors, and MOSFETs. Students are introduced to design with op-amps and carry out circuit simulations with SPICE. This lecture is accompanied by a lab component wherein students practice hands-on design, construction, and test of electronic circuits using signal generators, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.
