Governor Walker Vetoes Susitna Dam Capital Project

Governor Bill Walker has vetoed capital spending projects in the AK budget

including the Knik Bridge and Susitna Dam. Will this result in the shuttering of the

hydropower project for good? If so, this will certainly not hurt rainbow trout and

salmon in the Susitna River basin.
