YFAW 2024 in Newcastle

The 2024 meeting of the Young Functional Analysts' Workshop will be held at Newcastle University. Registration is now open: please click here to register. The registration fee is £20 and it includes the conference dinner, accommodation, the welcome reception and coffee/tea breaks. Online payment of the registration fee will be available soon and participants will be notified. Please note that the accommodation will be booked by YFAW for all participants at no extra charge.

As young functional analysts, we are committed to encouraging diversity in both functional analysis and the mathematical community as a whole. We would encourage anybody who wishes to submit either a short (15-20 minute) talk or a poster to do so, and in particular we enthusiastically welcome anyone from under-represented groups in mathematics (especially mathematicians of marginalised races or genders). Alongside this commitment, our sponsor the London Mathematical Society also places an emphasis on supporting women in mathematics. The YFAW strives to be an inclusive environment, and the ideal space to gain some experience presenting and interacting with research mathematics among your peers!
