Getting To Glasgow

The most convenient airport is Glasgow International Airport, which approximately 15 mins from the university campus by taxi. We recommend you use Westend Radio Cars (call 01419547070) instead of the airport taxi rank. Ask to be dropped at the main gate of the university.

The are frequent trains to Glasgow from all major cities. You'll arrive at either Glasgow Central or Glasgow Queen Street in the city centre. The university campus is 15 minutes from the city centre via the Subway (Glasgow's underground train service). Walk from Glasgow Central\Glasgow Queen Street to the Buchanan subway station (see map 1), take the underground train to Hillhead subway station, then walk to the university (see map 2).

Further travel options can be found here.

When you arrive at the university, please come to the Gilchrist Postgraduate Club seminar room (location A26 on the campus map linked below). Look out for YFAW signs to direct you into the club.
