Don Alain was a member of the Order of the White Scarf Trimaris and was also a Baron of the Court of Trimaris.
A constant supporter of the rapier community in Trimaris, Don Alain was a regular sight at tourneys and practices, always there and always ready to help.
Allan was a fine man who took many pictures and didn't often end up on the other side of the camera. His taste for good scotch will not be forgotten.
RUBADO, Allan Paul, 62, of Brandon, entered into rest July 18, 2008. Allan had retired as Sergeant from the USAF and was most currently a Systems Analyst with H.S.B.C. His passion was his membership in the Society for Creative Anachronism, where he greatly enjoyed the rapier community. He is survived by his soulmate, Crissy Brillant, sons, Ian Rubado, and wife Christina, Eric Rubado, and wife Shannon, daughters, Karen Rubado, Brigid McRae, and husband Ken, brothers, James Rubado, David Rubado, sisters, Frances Rubado, Jeanne Rubado, five grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
