The Mirrors of Eden

(Part Three)

In the field of Number Theory, there is a very specialized set of numbers called Leyland numbers, which show a reflection similar to palindromic numbers but this time with exponents. All Leyland numbers follow this pattern:

(xy + yx)

It is curious then that many of the Leyland numbers correspond with the Biblical references in both Hebrew and Greek to the Garden of Eden. As the first verse is strongly mathematically reflective, the first place (Eden) displays a similarly strong reflection, this time in a different mathematical aspect.

God calls His creation ‘Good’ and the word He uses here is Towb which comes to 17 and is the 3rd Leyland number and the Hebrew Garden shares this identity.

Good (טוב = 17 = (2³ + 3²

Garden (גן = 17 = (2³ + 3²

The digital reflection of 17 is 71 for which we have a related term from the Septuagint, in the word Genesis.

ΓΕΝΕΣΙΣ = 71 = Genesis

Garden (גן = 17 = (2³ + 3²

In the creation account, God creates the Light. As we have seen earlier, Light is a highly reflective number. Here again ‘The Light’ is reflective now in Hebrew ordinal as the very next Leyland number.

The Light (האור = 32 = (4² + 24

The digital reflection of this is number is 23, the number of paired chromosomes in the human genome as well as these related Hebrew words

To live = חיה = 23

The Man (Adam) = האדם = 23

In the Septuagint, the Greek rendition of the Hebrew Old Testament, the word ‘Eden’ comes to 54 ordinal, which is the next following Leyland number. This Leyland number is the product of two Hebrew Lights, as Light in Hebrew ordinal is 3 cubed or 3 x 3 x 3 = 27.

Eden (Εδεμ) = 54 = (3³ + 3³)

Light (אור = 27 (3³ x 2 = 54

The digital reflection of 54 is 45 and once again we see the reflection of the light and Eden in the name of the first inhabitant of Eden, the man called ‘Adam,’ this time in the standard numeration.

Adam = אדם = 45

The next two Leyland numbers in the series are 57 and 100, for which we have a neat separation of the phrase ‘Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden’ in the Hebrew ordinal.

57 = (5² + 25)

100 = (6² + 2²)

The digital opposite of 100 is the number one the beginning of all numbers and the source of all number according to many ancient authorities, in that all numbers can be divided by 1 and therefore are entirely composed of ones.

The digital reflection of 57 is 75 for which we have another reflection of Adam from Genesis 3:21. Here now taking the prepositional form of ‘Unto Adam.’

Unto Adam = 75 = לאדם

The Septuagint translates the Garden of Eden into the Paradise of Eden, and is literally where we get the word paradise in the Greek word Paradeisos. The ordinal summation of this Greek is 145 and it is the next Leyland number in this series.

The Garden of Eden (O Παραδεισος Εδεμ) = 145 = (4³ + 34)

ישראל = 541 = Israel

The reflection now being 541 which is coming state of Israel, who are the people of God.

The Hebrew for Garden of Eden is 177 and again the next number in this series. The number 177 is also the ordinal sum of the phrase from Genesis 1:27 which is in and of itself a summation of the whole of the Genesis account.

177 = (7² + 27)

The account of the Garden of Eden ends when Adam and Eve eat of the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, at which point they discover they are naked. The word ‘Naked’ here is Eyrom which is the next subsequent number in the Leyland series.

Naked Gen. 3:10 (עירם = 320 = (8² + 28

320 > 023

The Man (Adam) = האדם = 23

We have seen the phrase ‘Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden’ to come to 100, ordinal. In the standard it is 253 which is not a Leyland number, but is the sum of the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The number 253 is also however exactly 1/10th of 2,530, which is a Leyland number which evokes the prime factors of the first verse, now as exponents.

Ordinal Sum of the Hebrew Alphabet = 253

אבגדהוזחטיכךלמםנןסעפףצץקרשת = 253

253 x 10 = 2530

2530 = (37 + 73)
