Members of the Highland Biological Recording Group (HBRG) would like to welcome you the their new Fungus Group. They say:

"We are a friendly group of folk interested in improving our knowledge of fungi in the Highlands. We will organise some expert led forays and workshops, but most of our meetings will be peer-led and an opportunity for us all to share what we know. Everyone welcome!"

They will publish details of their forays and other events on the HBRG website, the Scottish Field Mycology Yahoo Group and the Scottish Fungi Facebook page. Meetings they've planned so far are also included in the Scottish Fungi event calendar.

Their inaugural meeting will be at Evanton Community Woodland on the 15th September. Meet at 10:45 in the car park opposite the shop in Evanton NH6074 6611. No long walks and most of the foray will be along or near to the path. They suggest you bring your lunch!

HBRG was set up in 1986 to stimulate public interest and involvement in biological recording.
