Dash - 1/2011

In order to complete the wiring, Jim first had to put in the dash and all the gauges. The dash came as a sheet of aluminum with a few holes pre-cut. Jim was left to determine what other gauges would be included and where they should be put. He then had to mark and cut each hole for all the gauges and switches, make sure they all fit precisely, and then cut the leather and foam that was sent to us to cover the dash. Getting the leather and foam to cover the dash was not as easy as we thought it would be. The foam didn't bend easily and would simply tear away from the adhesive which was binding it to the aluminum. Jim ended up getting an industrial-grade adhesive and taping it down with duct-tape while he was waiting for it to dry. The foam is never coming off now!

The finished product looks fantastic.
