Empathic Direct Action
This is an Empathy Cafe that will use the Empathy Circle process to inquire, brainstorm and dialogue about designing and implementing XR Direct Actions based on Empathy.

What about the Covid 19?
Our local health department says
Karolina: Empathic DA can be a big event. Ie. COP
Katarzyna: want to live in an empathic world.
Want to go to school. Have events, engage the teachers.
Teachers have a lot of stress.
If we can include teachers in our actions we could have a big impact.
Alex: I’ve been drawn to this process. It’s where XR can move next.
Disruption has created attention. We want to open up and engage with others.
Everyone deserves to be heard.
I'm not fully engaged in the direct action.
Went to an event: I didn’t know the people. It would have helped if there would have been listening with others. People have nuggets of information, and if we listen to them then we can better bring about the change we want.
Reframe the demand - rethink the demands and create a dialogue about the demands.
Katarzyna: values empathy and bringing people together.
Try to get people away from the screen but have to deal with the reality because of Corona
Maybe electronic platforms can be used for community building.
We can make a change in the world with online media.

Would like to organize a big gathering where people talk with each other.
How to create that where a few hundred people can come together..
We will need a brigade or network of facilitators.

Met with our local group. They are doing a lot.. Very active. I will raise the topic of empathy circles.
Will invite them to practice empathy circle.
Need to find out if they have done it. Will have a conversation about it.

War Room.. demand to have empathy circles with War Room directors.
A group can start with an empathy cafe.. For 30 to 60 minutes.
Love the vision of: Do a synchronized empathy events around the world.
Perhaps offer empathy circles around Covid19.
People will be lonely. We can offer connections.
