Empathy Circle Facilitators Online Support Group: Fridays

Part 1. XR Empathy Circles Work Group Orientation

In the first hour new XR Empathy Circles Work Group member orientation. You can meet some of the team, learn more about the Empathy Work Group, ask any questions, and see how you might take on a role in the group if you wish to do so. Also, brainstorm ideas for developing the group.

Part 2. Facilitators Support Group.

Second hour: Empathy Circle and Cafe design and facilitators support group. Each person can get on the agenda and has 15 minutes to talk about their issues with facilitating Empathy Circles/Cafes. They facilitate their time as they wish. Can ask for empathic reflections, advice, support, etc.

First hour or so, discuss, developing the Extinction Rebellion Empathy Circles Work Group

  1. About the WG: Create an introductory slideshow and Video.

  2. What are Ideas for developing it?

  3. Create some Holacracy Circles and Affinity Groups.

  4. More facilitators - what needs to happen is more helps.

  5. James: Needs to be clearer requests - have been thinking how to help the group. Would help if you have clearer set of requests and tasks. It’s about the balance of clear leadership.
