October Week 1 - DOUBLE HEADER Millville/Marple Newtown
What an incredible Saturday we had at the Dragon Run and Swedesboro Day! Everyone did a beautiful job performing and I hope that the scale of that event can show you just how much our activity brings people together in ways we could never even imagine. I received tons of positive feedback from our performances and truly want everyone to know how much joy your actions bring to our town!
Let's hop straight to it... it's time for THE DOUBLE HEADER WEEKEND! As a refresher, we added Marple Newtown due to our show at Clearview getting rained out a couple weeks ago. Firstly, HUGE home game Friday night against Clearview for our SENIOR NIGHT! Our seniors have put in countless hours over the years and Friday night will be one of many celebrations of all of their accomplishments and contributions to the program - BE LOUD AND PROUD!
Double Header: as you can imagine, there are a ton of logistics that go into pulling off a day like this, so this schedule is as efficient as it could possibly be to keep us all on the top of our game throughout the entire day. The truck will stay fully loaded from the night before, so all we have to do Saturday morning is show up and hop on the bus. After we perform at Millville, the boosters will be providing food before awards (we are up against CLEARVIEW!!) We will then head directly to Marple Newtown, have a shorter warmup, perform, get some time for concessions, and roll out before awards to avoid getting dismissed at midnight (no competition at this show). Strap in your seatbelts.Â
