July week 2 - Registration Open
It's go time! We had a great first summer rehearsal this past Wednesday and now it's time to talk registration!
An email was sent out from the district this morning containing the link for registration for fall sports, which will be completed through Genesis, the new school portal which will be replacing Powerschool. All parents should have also received a separate email with login information for Genesis - once logged in you will be prompted to register for athletics. Please complete this ASAP! Creating the parent portal will take some time but only needs to be done once.
Athletic Registration and physicals are through the school district whereas the contract was for our purposes. All must be completed!
Information about the $100 athletic fee will be communicated at a later date. This fee is waived for students who receive free/reduced lunch.
Physical Exams
PHYSICAL PAPERWORK IS DUE TO THE SCHOOL ON 8/1! Paperwork can be dropped off in the drop box outside of the HS or MS. Click here to access the paperwork to print and bring to your exam.Â
Remember, students are required to get a physical exam if their most recent one was completed before 8/21/22 (this is most of our members). If you haven't yet, schedule one with your primary care physician ASAP, or you can have it completed at a local Inspira Urgent Care as a walk in for $35. If your paperwork is not cleared before band camp, you will not be permitted to participate in physical activity in camp - it takes time for the paperwork to be processed!
If you are in the small handful of students that received a physical after 8/21/22, make sure to fill out the Health History Update form and place it in the drop box.
