November Week 2 - Thanksgiving info, Indoor sign ups
Even with a week off, this is still somehow a huge update... make sure to READ ALL THE WORDS, and make it to the bottom for details on signing up for the INDOOR SEASON! There's also tons of links in here, so see the bottom of the update for all links in order.
Time Deviated for the final time, and before we knew it, the show was over. Our competitive season is the largest bulk of what we put our time towards - all of the hours, all of the focus, all of the intensity is devoted towards delivering the best possible product at all times. Through doing this, we learn all of the values we stand by in our activity - commitment, teamwork, resilience. It is not easy to close out a season with the best performance of the show as the last one, but as a band, we certainly did! Nationals was an incredible experience and I hope that we all have a renewed sense of competitive value, humility, and excitement going into the future. The 2024 season is already in the works and I can't wait to get to work!
To the Class of 2024 Seniors... thank you for giving it your all every single day and for being such a tight knit, unique set of role models for the rest of the band to look up to. Each one of you has left an individual impact on our program far stronger than you can imagine. The impact of your work goes far beyond anything you could ever see - like seeds in a garden!

Thanksgiving Overnight Room Sign Up
Students - please see THIS GOOGLE FORM to sign up for your hotel rooms for Thanksgiving. Specific instructions are on each form. Only one person from each group needs to complete the form. Following this, a permission slip will be sent home for parents to sign to confirm all housing details.

Bingo Baskets We are going to have some amazing baskets to raffle off at our Bag Bingo. We are asking each section to donate an item(s) for their themed basket. Kingsway Indoor Percussion and Color Guard
THURSDAY, 12/7 - INDOOR PERCUSSION AND COLOR GUARD INTEREST MEETINGS 😎🔥
Now that outdoor Marching Band is wrapping up... it's time for Indoor! Last year kicked off our indoor programs with great success - these programs are an extension of our Marching Band program and allow opportunities for students to continue to perform in marching percussion and color guard throughout the entirety of the school year with their own unique shows. Our indoor programs are lead by these incredible familiar faces from our staff - students and parents should reach out to their respective directors with any questions about the Indoor season!

REGISTRATION/ATHLETIC FEES/HEALTH HISTORY UPDATE (welcome back!)
All three steps must be completed.
REGISTRATION on Genesis: student data - forms - Winter Registration
ATHLETIC FEE: all students AUDITIONING for Indoor are required to pay the winter athletic fee of $100 (free/reduced lunch students exempt) via MySchoolBucks or check. There are limited spots - any students who do not make the team will be refunded their fee. All athletic fees in our district follow this same policy with tryouts. HHU: students who already participated in Marching Band are additionally required to submit a Health History Update form.
deadlines have been extended for us, but we must abide by them - please plan to have all of the above submitted NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, 12/14.
