Ch5 pt activity

Pick up printed activity in class, or print this one if absent. Work with assigned team in class, using the clues to place the 26 'mystery elements' in their place on the blank table. Finish for homework, if not done in class. Use the clues, not the information on the squares. Make sure each person on the team understands the reasoning for placement. Copying answers will short circuit learning process. If you need help, ask for your helper to explain. When the blank table is filled with 26 letters of alphabet, you are done.

If you wish an extra credit point, fill in all the blanks on the squares, using the key at the top of the page. Atomic #, symbol, oxidation# (oxidation # is the charge of the ion) all blanks should be filled in. Once that is done, you may cut and paste filled in squares for an additional point.
