Ystrad Mynach Primary School is situated in the borough of Caerphilly. It was officially formed in 2007 following  the amalgamation of Ystrad Mynach Infants and Ystrad Mynach Junior school. At Ystrad Mynach we cater for approximately  450 children age 3-11. 

We have a large Victorian site with excellent  facilities that include large bright classrooms, a digital library, a school radio and a prestigious Lego room. Our grounds are equally well equipped with an outdoor classroom and performing area, sports courts, astro-turf and a climbing wall.
