The Ystrad Mynach Flourish Curriculum is our way of taking our curriculum conceptually using the image of a tree to develop our curriculum for our pupils, staff and community. We have aimed to develop a real authentic exciting curriculum for each child from Ystrad Mynach Primary School. We wanted our curriculum to start here in Ystrad Mynach, each child developing their understanding of Wales and be ready for the wider world and the opportunities that it gives. Our curriculum is driven by the four purposes and is based on tangible learning experiences and promotion of children’s independence. It is fun, memorable and captures the embodiment of the values of Curriculum for Wales.
