- The paper 3 exam consists of 3 choices of 2 essays, to be written in 60 minutes
- Essay a) is out of 12 marks, and essay b) out of 16
- The essays are almost always from 2 different units, and the b) essay often requires you to synthesize information form various units with the HL extension and the other core units.
