Designed for beginners and budding entrepreneurs alike, Hooks & Hustle blends creativity, design thinking, and real-world skills across three exciting sessions:
Session 1

Let your creativity shine, one stitch at a time!
In this fun and hands-on session, students will dive into the art of crochet—learning how to hold a hook, follow patterns, and create simple projects like coasters or wristbands. But this class isn’t just about yarn! Campers will also explore how to express themselves through personal branding. They'll design their own logos and write a “maker story” that reflects who they are as young creators.
By the end of the session, each student will have a finished crochet piece, a custom brand design, and the confidence to show off their style. It’s the perfect blend of creativity, design, and self-expression—no experience needed, just a willingness to try something new!
Hook & Market –
Product Design + DIY Packaging
From homemade to handmade business!
In this exciting session, students will take their crochet skills to the next level by designing and creating small, sellable products—like keychains, mini plushies, or wearable accessories. Along the way, they'll explore how to make their items stand out by learning about packaging, labels, and creative branding.
Campers will practice real-world skills like measuring, budgeting, and writing product descriptions while also tapping into their artistic side to design tags, packaging, and promotional materials. By the end of the session, each student will have a mini product line and everything they need to showcase their creativity with style!

Sell & Slay –
Pop-Up Prep + Young Biz Launch
Time to shine like a young CEO!
In this exciting final session, students will bring everything they've created to life by preparing to launch their very own mini business. From designing eye-catching displays to practicing real-world money skills, campers will learn what it takes to set up a successful pop-up shop. They'll rehearse product pitches, build confidence, and explore fun ways to promote and sell their handmade crochet items.
The session wraps up with a student-run Market Day, where families and guests can shop, celebrate creativity, and support these rising young entrepreneurs. It’s a powerful mix of teamwork, confidence-building, and business smarts—no business background required, just a dream and a drive to slay!
