In this immersive, hands-on class, students will explore the world of escape rooms from every angle—solving them, studying how they work, and ultimately building their very own. With a mix of math, history, logic, storytelling, and design, this course is perfect for curious minds who love puzzles and teamwork.

Get ready to become a master decoder! In this brain-boosting adventure, campers will step into the world of math, logic, and secret messages as they explore how codes are made—and cracked. From ancient ciphers to modern encryption, students will use algebraic expressions, patterns, and number puzzles to outsmart tricky challenges and build their own top-secret clues.
Campers will dive into hands-on problem solving with tools like cipher wheels, coordinate grids, and logic games, all while developing their skills in math and computer science. Working in teams and solo missions, they’ll practice critical thinking, collaborate with peers, and explore how math is used in the real world to keep information safe.
History Heist – The Artifact Puzzle
It’s time to put on your detective hats and travel through time! In this exciting escape room–style challenge, campers will become junior historians solving a centuries-old mystery: Who stole the ancient artifact—and why? Each day, students will uncover new clues through maps, letters, diaries, and photos, learning how real historians piece together the past.
Through hands-on activities and teamwork, students will analyze primary sources, follow historical clues across maps, and even reconstruct the scene of the heist using evidence. As the investigation unfolds, they’ll build a suspect timeline, write up their findings, and present their final theory at a museum-style “Case Closed Showcase.”

The Great Escape Lab –
Design, Build, Break Out
Think you’ve got what it takes to break out—and build your own challenge? In this hands-on, high-energy session, campers will become engineers, puzzle-makers, and storytellers as they work in teams to design and build their very own escape rooms!
Each day, students will dive into the engineering design process, combining STEM skills with creativity and teamwork. They’ll brainstorm thrilling themes, craft clever clues and logic puzzles, sketch blueprints, and build props or visual layouts. Along the way, they’ll learn how to collaborate, problem-solve, and revise, just like real-world designers.
At the end of the session, it's Escape Room Day—where each team puts their challenge to the test and sees if their peers can crack the code. Then we wrap it up with a celebration and showcase of all their amazing ideas!
