A 3-Level Summer Swim Journey for Every Camper
Welcome to Grizzly Swim School, where campers of all experience levels learn to swim, stay safe, and build confidence in the water—one splash at a time! This exciting summer swim program is designed to meet kids where they are and help them grow through fun, skill-building, and teamwork. With hands-on activities, personalized instruction, and project-based learning, each level offers something special.
Session 1
June 16 - 26
No experience needed – just a splash of courage and a smile!
In this beginner-level swim class, campers will dip their toes into the world of swimming with fun and safety in mind. Designed for students with little to no water experience, “Splash & Float” focuses on the basics—like getting comfortable in the water, learning how to float, blowing bubbles, kicking with kickboards, and practicing breath control.
For swimmers ready to go beyond the basics!
In this fun and fast-paced intermediate swim session, campers dive into the next level of swimming by learning how to glide through the water with style and strength! Designed for students who have passed a swim test or completed Level 1, “Stroke Starters” introduces freestyle and backstroke techniques, proper breathing, treading water, and powerful kicks to build endurance and confidence.
Campers will become aquatic athletes-in-training as they keep personal fitness journals, tracking their heart rate, strokes, and progress through fun, age-appropriate math and science connections.

For confident swimmers ready to take it to the next level!
This advanced-level swim class is perfect for campers who already have strong swimming skills and are ready to dive deeper—literally and figuratively! In “Power Strokes & Aquatic Fitness,” students will master all four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly), build stamina through fun swim drills, and explore the basics of lifeguarding and coaching.
