Most memorable experience as a Fellow:

My most memorable experience as a fellow was participating in our First Spartans Art Show at Marketview Arts. This show displayed the class's photography and we held a reception to celebrate their work! This boosted the confidence of many of our students and helped them feel better connected to the York community.    

Takeaway from the Fellowing experience:

One of my best takeaways from being a Fellow is collaborating with professors and staff. I worked well with both of the professors I was paired with. I was excited to work alongside them and receive great insight from their experiences.     

Best advice to prospective Fellows:

One of my best pieces of advice for prospective and new Fellows is to make real connections with the students in your FYS class. It is crucial that students feel comfortable talking with you and respect you as one of their peers at YCP.
