Master Fellow
Served as a Fellow for:
Be the Change with Prof. Beth Dunham
Food Issues and Choices with Prof. Kay McAdams
Work, Play, Learn with Prof. Brian Malcarne
Most memorable experience as a Fellow:
Two of my most memorable experiences was going to the Museum of the Bible, and pumpkin carving for a charity walk on the Rail Trail!
Takeaway from the Fellowing experience:
One of my biggest takeaways from being a fellow is learning to be intentional with the pursuit of relationships with complete strangers. Yes, you can say, "Hey how you doing?” when you walk past the students. You can go to lunch with them, invite them to clubs and organizations you’re a part of, try out any clubs they like, and really get to know who they are deeper than surface level! It really goes a long way!
Best advice to prospective Fellows:
My advice would be go to lunch with your students, hang out with them outside of the classroom, and be intentional about building a relationship with them. They need that more than you know and you could completely change their college lives for the better!
