The Educational Support (ES) Program addresses the individual needs of students with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities who demonstrate delays in academic skills and adaptive functioning (e.g. daily living skills, social skills, communication skills, etc.). Students in this program have been identified as exceptional through the IPRC identification process. The program is delivered at their home school in an integrated setting.
In consultation with the parents/guardians and the student, a program plan is developed by school staff that reflects the student's learning profile. Amy accomodations and/or modifications to the program, along with individualized instructions and equipment, are recorded in the IEP.
