I really liked this photo because of how the bird feeder stretches across it and makes you pay attention to an angle you may never have seen before. I also like the background that the tree and sky provide for contrast to the red in the bird feeder. This was taken at the same time as "Bird Feeder Pt. 2" and this different angle caught my eye.
The morning I took this photograph I was outside with my dogs in the snow. I somehow ended up on the ground with them and noticed this unique angle that I would never have seen otherwise. That afternoon, I took my camera back out to capture what I had seen earlier, and it ended up looking like this. I also love the contrast in this photo with the bright red against the sky.
I took this photo right before I went upstairs to go to bed one night. I was shutting out all the lights, and the three lanterns hanging in our kitchen ended up being the last ones still on. I loved their warm light and the look of the lantern, so I grabbed my camera and got this shot before I switched the lanterns off for the night.
I thought this would be an interesting angle of a fence that's been in my backyard for several years now. When it was first put up, I appreciated the shapes of the wood every time I saw it, but eventually, I got so used to it that I didn't pay so much attention. Seeing this angle of the fence for the first time makes me notice its uniqueness which is why I like this photo so much.
