Reflection
I think I need to pay closer attention to the shape and size of the features, as well as to pay attention to detail. Improving on these aspects will help my portrait look much more like me. I think when it comes to the eyes, I need to make sure that my crease, size, and shape are close to my actual eye. I’ve noticed that my eyes are slightly downward, and paying attention to that will really improve my portrait. For my nose to get the feature to resemble mine, I need to make sure that the size of my nostrils and the shape of all the curves are as accurate as I can get. Lastly, to make my mouth look like my own, I will pay closer attention to the angles and curves of all the lines, as well as how far away the top and bottom are from my nose and chin. There are many other ways to improve my artwork but I think those few will help tremendously.
