Purpose:
To learn about the career of a visual effects artist;
To learn how mythology inspires a variety of designs;
To use Photoshop tools to alter and morph animals in a number of ways that build upon basic skills.
I know that combining a chicken and a goat would be difficult, so I decided to pick a goat that was white in order to make it "easier." However, I soon learned that the hard part was making it blend and match the shadows in order to make the image look real. I turned the goat head into a PNG. Later, I played with the saturation of the head to match it. I decreased the light of the goat head because it was too bright. Since the goat had some pink, I also decreased the brightness of it so it wouldn't be so bold. Even though this project was difficult, I'm happy with the way it turned out.
